The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills, while building competence in a particular area of business. Most universities, therefore, plan the degree such that in addition to their major, students are exposed to general business principles, taking courses in accounting, finance, economics, business management, human resources and marketing. Programs often require foundational courses in business statistics and mathematics, and information systems. Bachelor of Commerce or BCom is the most popular undergrad course in the country. This course is done after 12th standard (10 Plus 2) for your 12th, you have to choose streams like commerce, science and arts, and the students who did commerce, continue in the stream by choosing BCom. However, students of other streams are also allowed to opt for a BCom and this happens as this course has a lot of scope for further studies and making careers.

The course syllabus is divided into 6 semesters spread over a span of three years with End Semester Exams being held after each semester. Mahatma Gandhi university is a government university in Kerala where millions of students from India are successfully graduating each year.
