A SMALL WALK THROUGH MG UNIVERSITY- KERALA

MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY commonly referred to as MG UNIVERSITY  ,is a state owned public University headquartered in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India. This is one of the main Universities TRUIMPH COLLEGE is dealing with for B.COM.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

   It is approved by UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION(UGC) and accredited(A) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India. The University has around 300 affiliated colleges spread over five districts in central Kerala.

     The University is a member of the AIU and the ACU-Association of Common Wealth Universities that represents over 480 Universities from Common Wealth Countries. MGU also works in close partnerships with INDIA’s top institution like DRDO(Defense Research and Defense Organization) and the ISRO(Indian Space Research Organization.

     The University has been a recipient of the BEST STATE CHANCELLOR’S AWARD twice.

RANKINGS

MGU is being ranked between 400-500 in 2022 and this year it’s been ranked between 501-600 in the WORLD UNIVERSITY rankings 2023.It has secured 30^th rank in the NIRF(NATIONAL INSTITUTIONAL RANKING FRAMEWORK).It has also been adjudged the best amongst ‘young universities’ in the country with a ranking of 77 in the YOUNG UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2023.It has gained 95^th rank in the ASIA UNIVERSITY RANKINGS 2023.
